warm-a-rama – arm circles, circle arms, grass pickers, stretching, sprinklers, mountain climbers, high knees, butt kickers
The Thang – a burpee mile consisting of 12 burpees and a 1/4 mile run, repeated 4 times. Then we got to the IV challenge. After consulting with Pinto, all PAX were instructed to AMRAP merkins in 2 minutes, and keep that number in mind. Some might have thought the challenge was just the total number of reps….or the speed that the burpee mile was finished for one of us. Little did they know, the challenge was then to improve on that first set of merkins. After a second two minute set, Spike upped his total number of merkins completed by 6, the highest between the two AOs.
At this point, there were plans to do a four corners set around the park, but dehydration was kicking in and YHC didn’t feel like running. So an audible was called to a poopoo platter of sit ups, step ups, squats and then PAX choice of the people’s chair, pull ups, broad jumps, lunge walks and sprints. I appreciate everyone jumping in with their suggestions.
