Like jumping into a cold lake, can’t ease into it.  YHC was wet and the rain was steady, so stuck to the plan which was on the six first exercise.  The grumbles and modest disbelief were there, but the PAX did it anyway.  YHC ain’t no Einstein, so limited research on what National day it is and no snazzy acronym for the exercises.  Legkick had the theme correct – reps.  Couldn’t have been that bad, Winklevoss corrected Q only once.  As best I can remember, it went a little sumthin like this …

Round 1 – 30 quick coupon chest presses + 10 slow 5 count presses, 30 bentover rows, 20 American hammers, 10 Blockees

Intermission – partnered up, going opposite directions one partner Mosey while the other Water bucket carried coupons,  swapped coupons/Mosey at meetup point.  2 laps for first intermission.

Round 2 – 40 kettlebells, 30 upright row, 20 Louganis, 10 Mini-hair Burner, Intermission 1 lap

Round 3 – 30 chest press+10 slow count, 20 Up on the shelf, something, something trident, YHC can’t remember, 10 Halos, Intermission 2 laps (I think, it is already blurry)

Clean Up round – Curl-Tricep extension Ladder (not a Pyramid!) to 7 (when even Dora says something about reps, realized 7 might be plenty)

YHC thoughts – An event is often as good as the stories that come out of it.  Plenty of opportunity for PAX to sack it in today, but 12 showed up and did the Thang.  No matter how the beatdown played out, that says something about the HIM present in the opinion of YHC.  Really, really good stuff and inspiring to continue to be better.  Keyword search: redpill, integrity, grit, brotherhood, mumble chatter.  And … makes for some good stories.
