Two runners & two ruckers blazed trails through the Thicket. The ruckers, Spike & ElToro, headed down the Schuykill River Trail, while Einstein & YHC headed across Sullivan’s Bridge down Cinder Lane to the Chapel Trail. Conditions were rather moist with some slick mud but as elevation increased, the surface became soft and accommodating.

The only precarious moment was the turnaround where the runners made a slippery creek crossing. Besides that, the run took place at easy conversational pace.

The ruckers finished with just under 3 miles. The runners finished at just over 4.5 miles for roughly a 9:40 pace and 425 feet of elevation.
